AGR Hall

A large, multi-functional room that is perfect for medium to large events. The AGR Hall features a vaulted ceiling, an abundance of natural light and is perfect for your next event.

Allewelt Conference Room

520 square feet

Featuring four, flexible 30”x6’conference tables that can be configured to achieve a custom setup. Conference, classroom, lecture, rounds and reception style. A white board, active phone lines, and 14 cushioned boardroom chairs. Adjacent to the Founders Board Room, the Allewelt Conference Room is perfect for your next meeting or breakout session.

Founders Board Room

1,075 square feet

This spacious and impressive room is perfect for executive meetings or board meetings. The large, elegant table seats up to 28 guests in leather conference chairs.

Kitchen

405 square feet

Our kitchen provides ample countertop and cupboard space as well as a refrigerator and an ice machine. This is a great spot for your caterers to set up either a plated or buffet meal. Please remember, we do not allow self-catering or potluck events.

Lester Library

334 square feet

This unique, oval-shaped room is a terrific complementary space for the AGR Hall, the lobby, or the patio. The library if perfect for serving a double-sided buffet, displaying materials or storing supplies. Best of all, it’s free with your reservation of any other room in the building. Be sure to request it by name when setting up your reservation through Campus Events. 

Moss Patio

9,348 square feet

The mature landscaping surrounding the Moss Patio lends privacy and a sense of the outdoors to this beautiful space. The patio accommodates a large variety of events, including: receptions, dinners, vendor fairs and wedding ceremonies. It is adjacent to the AGR Hall and the Tower Lobby, allowing guests to move freely between the three spaces.

Capacity: 350 dining

Twenty-eight 60' round tables are available for use in the AGR Hall or on the patio. The rectangular tables may be used outside as well (we can accommodate up to twenty 18” x 6' tables and twenty 18” x 8' tables). The use of 260 outdoor chairs is included in your rental of the patio space. 

If you would like to use additional furniture, such as additional tables/chairs, tent, space heaters, stage or lighting, please make separate arrangements with an outside vendor and notify the facility in advance of your event.

Tower Lobby

1,560 square feet

The high ceilings, elegant architectural design and open feel of the Tower Lobby make it an ideal choice for receptions, event registration, poster session or small vendor fair. It can be reserved in conjunction with another space or by itself (must be approved by the facility manager for lobby only rentals), for small events or gatherings.

We offer up to twenty 18” x 6’ tables and twenty 18” x 8’ tables in the Tower Lobby for appetizers, refreshments or materials. 

West Conference Room

405 square feet

The West Conference Room accommodates anywhere from 14 to 28 guests for a meeting or breakout session. The room’s location next to the kitchen and the AGR Hall also makes it a convenient space for staging a plated dinner or for event preparation.

Upon booking the West Conference Room, please notify the facility manager if you would like additional chairs. We can add 14 chairs around the perimeter of the room in addition to the 14 chairs around the fixed conference table. We can also add rectangular tables to the exterior of the room for registration or catering.

Reservation

All reservations at the Alumni Center are handled through Conference and Event Services.

For university related events, please call (530) 747-3830.

For non-university events (e.g. weddings, private parties, corporate events) call (530) 747-3851.

You can also make reservations and check availability at the CES website http://www.cevs.ucdavis.edu/.

Set-up

The Alumni Center staff is responsible for the setting up of tables, chairs, and audio/visual equipment for each event in the building

After making your reservation, please contact the facility manager to discuss your set-up needs. We will be happy to arrange a pre-event meeting and facility walk through before your event.

All rooms are also equipped with active data lines for the use of wired internet. However, there is wireless internet available throughout the building as well. To establish a wireless guest account for off-campus visitors, please speak with the facility. They would be happy assist you with setting up a wireless guest account.
