2013 Aggie Tradition Keepers

Recent Aggie Tradition Keepers

At UC Davis, our Aggie Traditions surround us: wearing UC blue and gold to athletic events, watching the Picnic Day parade from a favorite vantage point, wearing pajamas to greet alumni at the train station for Homecoming weekend, kissing the Egghead at Shields Library for good luck during finals, and so much more. The Aggie Traditions program, which is proudly hosted by the Student Alumni Association, preserves those traditions, as well as milestones of our outstanding university in areas ranging from athletics and agriculture to medicine and public service.

Created in 2008, in honor of UC Davis' centennial celebration, the Cal Aggie Alumni Association partnered with the Associated Students, University of California, Davis (ASUCD) and the Student Alumni Association to create this unique program as an opportunity to learn about the everyday aspects of university life  and recognizes the traditions and activities that make UC Davis such a special place. Whether you are a current student, alumni, parent, or faculty or staff member, we hope you enjoy reading about the programs and activities that set UC Davis apart.

Students who complete all 50 traditions will be honored with a special medallion to wear at graduation to recognize them as UC Davis tradition keepers.

Completed forms must be submitted to Cal Aggie Alumni Association two weeks prior to graduation.
