Ride the Bike Loop
The Davis Bike Loop is a twelve-mile route connecting many of the bike paths through the city of Davis. Originating in 1988, UC Davis Landscape Architecture professor Mark Francis proposed the Davis Greenway Plan which would connect many parks and bike paths. Completed in 2007, the route contains nine miles of bike paths, three miles of bike lanes, three bridges over and one tunnel under the freeway, and six additional tunnels. If you enjoy biking, make sure you ride the Loop at least once before graduation.
