Become an AggieAdvocate

You can stay involved with UC Davis with a minimal time committment by becoming an AggieAdvocate. Our AggieAdvocates are ambassadors for the university to our state and federal elected officials.

We will keep you informed as issues related to the UCs move through the legislative process and invite you to events, town halls and forums. When public policy issues arise that significantly affect the campus, we will request your participation in writing letters or making phone calls to your elected representatives. As an AggieAdvocates, you may also visit state legislators in their district offices to talk about UC Davis' impact on the region.

AggieAdvocates also participate in the biennial UC Day legislative conference in Sacramento or the annual Joint Higher Education Day where advocates from all three segments of California public higher education make legislative visits and discuss the importance of public higher education.

Contact the Office of Government and Community Relations at (530) 752-9795 to join the AggieAdvocates program.
