Aggie Student Send-Off Events
Admitted UC Davis students and their family members are invited to attend welcome receptions held throughout California in advance of the start of the academic year. Parents and family, alumni association staff members, UC Davis alumni and parents of current students are present to answer questions and prepare families for their student's move to UC Davis. Students also have the chance to meet with current students and students from their hometown area who also have been admitted. Register to attend at one of our 2018 locations.

Sending your student off to college can be an exciting, emotional or stressful time for many families. That is why the Aggie Parent and Family Association will be on site to help new parents navigate the transition into college life. Look for Parent and Family hospitality tent near the bookstore during move-in weekend. Stop by our booth to write your student a special note, which Aggie Parent and Family Association staff will deliver the first week of school. Pick up a community map and let us answer your questions and direct you to campus and local resources and join our members of the UC Davis Parent Council and join them on an Aggie Traditions mini-tour around campus. Council members also have a wealth of experience and information to share, so be sure to stop by and say hello!
