Every year in March, the Aggie Parent and Family Association organizes UC Davis Coffee Talks for parents in cities across California and beyond. It’s an opportunity to meet other Aggie families in the neighborhood, share stories and advice about their students’ transitions to college life, and to keep up-to-date on the happenings at UC Davis.
In each city where a Coffee Talk is held, a parent volunteers to host the gathering in their home or a local coffee shop. Though the program is relatively new, parents eagerly anticipated the event every year as it is a chance to share Aggie pride close to home.
Becky Heard, Director of Parent and Family Programs: “We’re always looking for hosts in other cities, and we hope to continue extending out of California to the rest of the country and the world.”
