UC Davis Parent Ambassadors
UC Davis Parent Ambassadors is a unique group of committed and community-minded Aggie Parent and Family Association members who have decided to go above and volunteer their time to the UC Davis community. Volunteering provides parents and family members with a great way to learn more about the UC Davis campus community and get to meet other members of the Aggie Family. We welcome your participation at the level of volunteerism that works for you and your schedule--whether it is helping at one event a year or leading numerous on or off-campus projects.
To be a UC Davis Parent Ambassador, you must be a member of the Aggie Parent and Family Association.

- Work Parent Events: Parent and Family Programs hosts a number of events throughout the year and is always looking for a group of volunteers to help do everything from hospitality, registration, event set up and clean up, or provide other logistical support. Events could include Aggie Welcome events held in your local community during the summer, coffee talks (held each spring around the state) or on-campus events such as Parent Orientations, Move-In Weekend, Parent and Family Weekends, or Picnic Day.
- Share Your UC Davis Parent Experience: Talk to prospective UC Davis parents and sharing your impression of UC Davis, campus resources such as Parent and Family Programs, and your student's experiences.
- Welcome new Aggie Families: Make telephone calls to the parents of admitted students and congratulate them on their student's admission to UC Davis. Volunteer at at Aggie Welcome Event.
- Host an Aggie Event: Coordinate a parent event for fellow UC Davis parents in your home or community such as an Aggie Coffee Talk.
