Director of Membership
Divine Joyce Otico ’19 serves as the Director of Membership at the Cal Aggie Alumni Association (CAAA). She oversees membership programs for students, parents, and alumni, managing revenue, marketing, and operations. Divine leads efforts to enhance membership benefits and increase engagement and revenue through strategic marketing while overseeing a team specializing in graphic design, social media marketing, photography, data management, and fulfillment. She is passionate about fostering innovation and collaboration within her team to drive impactful results.
Focused on developing strategic marketing and membership campaigns, Divine works to expand the Aggie Network. She ensures accurate membership records and coordinates key signature events such as the Picnic Day VIP Member Lounge, Grad Fair, and Grad Toast to engage students, parents, and alumni. Her leadership in inaugural campaigns has led to record-breaking membership initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency and impact through data-driven strategies.
Before joining CAAA, Divine worked at the UC Davis Center for Leadership Learning, Wheelhouse: The Center for Community College Leadership and Research, and the California Education Lab at the School of Education. She was also a Mentorship & Professional Development Fellow at the AB540 and USC at UC Davis and a Crankstart Transfer Reentry Scholar.
As a first-generation professional and UC Davis alumna, Divine is committed to sustainability. Her passion extends beyond her professional role, as she runs a small business focused on upcycling fabric and promoting circular fashion. In her free time, she enjoys singing, recording music, and spending time with her fluffy feline companion, Mizuki Otico.
