"I graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Science and Management, with a specialization in Viticulture. Following graduation, I began building a career dedicated to agriculture and vineyard management. Since 1983, I have owned and operated Redwood Empire Vineyard Management, serving vineyards throughout Marin, Sonoma, Napa and Mendocino counties. Through decades of experience, I have developed a deep knowledge and appreciation for the California winegrape industry. In addition to my vineyard management business, I operate an alfalfa farming operation and a cow-calf operation in Siskiyou County. My diverse agricultural interests reflect my lifelong commitment to farming, ranching, and responsible land stewardship. Outside of my professional work, I am a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. I am also actively involved in community organizations and take pride in giving back to the communities where I live and work."
