Current Exhibitions:

  • Deborah Butterfield: P.S. These are not horses: Experience 50 years of the renowned sculptor’s evocative works at the place where it all began. This exhibition includes rarely exhibited pieces, including ceramics Deborah Butterfield made while studying at UC Davis with Robert Arneson and William T. Wiley.
  • Malaquias Montoya and the Legacies of a Printed Resistance: Explore the diversity of activist artist and UC Davis Professor Emeritus Malaquias Montoya’s creative practices and multigenerational career through his bold, visual screenprints, as well as works by artists with whom he collaborated in fighting for social justice and envisioning a brighter future.
  • Undercover / Ayanah Moor: Abstract painter Ayanah Moor deploys abstraction as a way to rethink our inherited modes of communication and interpretation of visual art and invites the viewer to consider how her recent paintings offer a platform for meaningful questions around race, gender, sexuality and the visual.
