Travel back in time with your NYC Network - On this tour, you’ll walk the same streets as the Rogarshevsky family did in 1911, to the site of the neighborhood’s pushcart market, to the very first park in the neighborhood, and to an important center of Jewish American life at the Educational Alliance, before visiting their recreated tenement apartment exhibit inside the Manny Cantor Center. Explore the neighborhood through their eyes as they balanced tradition, work, and fun on the Lower East Side.
