Join UC Davis alumni & friends in Seattle for a day of service on Saturday, June 8th, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. In partnership with Earth Corps, you and your fellow Aggies will head to beautiful Discovery Park, situated on Magnolia Bluff overlooking the Pugent Sound, where you'll help take care of a variety of tasks to ensure the park is being taken care of.
How to Register:
What to Expect:
- Gloves, tools, water and snacks are provided
- Information on tool use and safety, forest healthy and park information is provided
- Tasks vary from picking up litter to weeding to planting trees and more
What to Bring/Wear:
- Clothes that can get dirty
- Sturdy, closed-toed shoes
- Long pants and long sleeve shirt
- Rain gear (in case of bad weather)
- A sack lunch (snacks are provided, but not a full meal)
- A reusable water bottle (can be refilled on site)
Where to Meet:
- Discovery Park South Parking Lot, please try to arrive slightly before 10 AM
