Shields Library Tour: From Art to (Study) Zones:

Get to know UC Davis’ main library, from the best places to study to the quiet beauty of the library Courtyard. Learn about the UC Davis art faculty who led the California Funk Art movement (Eggheads, anyone?), the oldest item in our archives, and how to get to the mysterious fourth floor. (Hint: Don’t take the main staircase!) And you’ll find out how your student can access online resources from their dorm room or apartment, connect with a librarian for help on that first term paper, and more.

Meet in the Shields Library Lobby. Tours begin promptly; advance registration not required, however tours are limited to 35 visitors.

Tours are scheduled for the following times:

  • Friday, November 1st are from 3pm-4pm, and
  • Saturday, November 2nd are from 12:30pm-1:30pm.
