Join fellow alumni from all UC campuses at the 2018 UC Alumni UK Charity Gala.
This year’s black tie event will take place on March 17, 2018 at the Bloomsbury Hotel in London. There will be a sit-down three course dinner, dancing, a silent auction and distinguished speakers. This year’s keynote speaker is UCLA alum, Frank Spotnitz, producer of television shows such as Medici: Masters of Florence, The Man in the High Castle and The X-Files. Frank will share insights on the changing nature of television in the 21st century, as well as his personal journey from UCLA to CEO of Big Light Productions, one of Europe's fastest growing production companies. We will also have comments from a scholarship donor and recent student scholarship recipient.
After raising over $17,000 for student scholarships at last year’s event, we hope to increase that amount to $20,000 this year to support more students. During the evening, there will be ways to contribute via the silent auction, raffles and pledges.
