About Winery: Anarchist Wine Co. began as a creative project during a particularly outstanding and bountiful harvest. One day, the winemaking team commandeered a few barrels of wine and went rogue. Anarchist Wine Co. is the product of classical winemakers gone wild, offering a fresh take on exceptional wines from renowned vineyards across Napa, Sonoma, and hidden gems of up-and-coming regions. Located on The Village green at The Meritage Grand Reserve, Napa’s premiere lifestyle resort, the Anarchist Tasting Room is the perfect spot to enjoy delicious, unconventional blends that defy traditional winemaking rules!

Aggie Connection: Patrick Saboe’s passion for winemaking started in 1996 on his honeymoon to the California wine country. At UC Davis, he studied viticulture and enology and launched his post-grad career as Harvest Enologist at Hanna Winery and then Assistant Winemaker at Keller Estate. Saboe now serves as the Director of Winemaking at Foundry and Anarchist Wine Co., as well as Consulting Winemaker to several brands in the Napa and Sonoma regions.
