About Winery: Holly's Hill began when Tom and Holly Cooper fell in love with the grape varieties of Southern France's Rhone Valley when they shared a bottle of Chateauneuf-du-Pape on their honeymoon. Years later, Holly decided she wanted to live on a hill and convinced Tom to move to his family’s cattle ranch in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Since then, they have been inspired to craft the highest-quality Rhone varietal wines. Today, Tom and Holly Cooper’s winery is run by their daughter Carrie and her husband Josh.

Aggie Connection: Josh graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1998 with a B.S. in Viticulture and Enology. Shortly after graduating, he got a job at a local winery where a mutual friend introduced him to Carrie, and they were married seven months later! In addition to being the winemaker for Holly’s Hill, Josh also makes beer and is an active member of El Dorado Search & Rescue.
