About Winery: In 2006, a family discovered 50 acres of hillside vineyards in Knights Valley, Sonoma County, and founded Knights Bridge Winery with a vision to produce exceptional wines. Nestled on the warm, western slopes of the valley, the winery focuses on small-lot Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon. A dedicated team of professionals shares their commitment to excellence through sustainable farming and meticulous winemaking. Rooted in a love for nature, fine wine, and meaningful connection, Knights Bridge Winery creates unforgettable tasting experiences.

Aggie Connection: Derek’s love of wine sparked during his time at UC Davis, where he earned both his B.S. and M.S. in Viticulture and Enology while playing Aggie Football. Weekend trips to Napa soon turned into hands-on experience at Jessie's Grove, Silverado Farming, and Trinchero's luxury portfolio before he joined Knights Bridge in 2019. Winemaker since 2021, Derek approaches each vintage as a collaboration with nature, seeking to craft balanced, personality-driven wines that express the vineyard's unique character.
