Founded in 1884 by Swiss settler Anton Nichelini, Nichelini Family Winery is one of Napa Valley's pioneers. Anton established a homestead, planted vines, and built a winery with a Roman wine press, and by 1890, the winery was bonded. The family grew as Anton married Caterina, and they completed a seven-bedroom house above the winery. Today, the winery remains in the Nichelini family, making it the oldest continuously family-owned winery in Napa County. The motto “Generation to Generation” reflects five generations of winemaking expertise, producing world-class wines known for their craftsmanship and individuality.
Aimee is a 5th generation winemaker in the Napa Valley, as well as the first in the family to have earned a Viticulture and Enology “V&E” degree. She graduated with honors from the UC Davis department in 2003.
