Megan E. (Behymer) Kennedy
Luminous Family Lineage was founded by Megan E. Kennedy, M.A., in 2020. She served in the United States Army Reserve. She has been an independent genealogist since 2011, when she began studying her own family history in earnest.

She has traced her family lineage back to the 3rd century in what is now England. Megan has also identified sources for at least 50 Revolutionary War Patriot ancestors and is descended from Mayflower Pilgrims John and Joan (Hurst) Tilley and John and Elizabeth (Tilley) Howland.

She is a proud member of the District of Columbia of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants (GSMD), National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), United States Daughters of 1812 (USD1812), Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star (OES), and Scottish American Military Society (SAMS). She also studied genealogy at Boston University (unable to complete the certificate due to a personal emergency) and is fully certified through the DAR Genealogy Education Programs (GEP).
