What could be better than a weekend getaway in the mountains of North Carolina?
How about enjoying lunch and beer tasting at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co while making friends with UC Davis Alumni from around the state! Come up for the day or make a weekend out of it and enjoy all that Asheville, Hendersonville and the surrounding area have to offer.
We will have a tour of the beautiful, state of the art Sierra Nevada Brewery with no host beer tasting (flights of 4 or 5 different beers are available as are full size glasses of beer) and lunch to follow in the excellent restaurant on site. Ask for the UC Davis Alumni group upon arrival. Allow time to wander around the grounds as the outdoor areas are well planned for guest enjoyment. There is even a trail to follow down to the French Broad River where there is a landing for kayakers to get off the river for an hour or so and enjoy Sierra Nevada.
