Retiree Center Director
Darolyn Striley joined the UC Davis Retiree Center in October 2026. She brings more than 17 years of UC Davis
experience in student affairs, university administration, engagement, events, staff leadership, and community-building. Most recently, Darolyn served as Manager of the Student Development Office at the UC Davis School of Medicine, where she led programs and services supporting medical students, advised senior leaders, supervised staff, and coordinated large-scale events across UC Davis Health. She has also held leadership roles with UC Davis and UC Davis Health Staff Assembly, including Chair and Chair-Elect, and is passionate about service, connection, and helping members of the UC Davis community feel valued and engaged throughout every stage of their relationship with the university.
She spends her weekends loving art, cheese, and cats, not necessarily in that order. She is excited to continue serving the UC Davis community by supporting retirees and emeriti as lifelong members of the university.
