Post a photo of you participating in an alumni Picnic Day event (virtual or in person), as defined by Cal Aggie Alumni Association, using #PicnicDayAroundTheWorld, or messaging your entry to Cal Aggie Alumni Association via social media or email to be entered to win UC Davis branded items valued at $40.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER.
INTERNET ACCESS AND A FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, TWITTER, OR EMAIL ACCOUNT ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER.
SWEEPSTAKES TIMING
- Entry Period: Begins Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. and ends Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. (PDT).
- Winner Announcement: Winner will be announced the week of April 25, 2022 via CAAA social media.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter, entrant must post a photo of them participating in an alumni Picnic Day event (virtual or in person) through one of the following three ways during the entry period:
- Facebook: Message your photo to Cal Aggie Alumni Association. Enter using only one (1) Facebook account registered in your name.
- Instagram: Post your photo using #PicnicDayAroundTheWorld and tag @calaggiealumni. Private posts will not be entered into the sweepstakes as we will not be able to see them. Enter using only one (1) Instagram account registered in your name.
- Twitter: Post your photo using #PicnicDayAroundTheWorld and tag @calaggiealumni. Private posts will not be entered into the sweepstakes as we will not be able to see them. Enter using only one (1) Twitter account registered in your name.
- Email: Send your photo to [email protected] with #PicnicDayAroundTheWorld in the subject line. Enter using only on email account registered in your name.
WINNER SELECTION: One (1) will be selected randomly from the selection of eligible entries. Winners will win Aggie Fan Pack as described below and will be selected and notified on or about April 26, 2022. Winner will be notified through their original entry method (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Email) and will have 1 day to respond to the notification. In the event that a winner doesn’t respond within 1 day, the sweepstakes administrator will choose the next entry to win.
PRIZE:
- Grand Prize Winner (1) : UC Davis branded items
- Approximate retail value is $40
ELIGIBILITY: This sweepstakes is open to all UC Davis alumni. Employees of Cal Aggie Alumni Association and any and all other companies associated with the sweepstakes (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), and each of their immediate family members and/or people living in the same household, are not eligible to participate. Eligibility rules are subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
All entries submitted become the property of UC Davis, and by participating you agree that UC Davis may use your submitted photo/video and post content for marketing and advertising purposes.
Odds of winning depending on number of entrants, inquiries about number of entrants and and odds may be directed to Jasmine Herrera. This information will remain available one year after the sweepstakes closes.
UC Davis may cancel this sweepstakes in the event of technical problems or electronic attacks affecting the administration of the offer. Any sweepstakes entrant found to intentionally interfere with the operation of the offer will be disqualified. UC Davis retains the right to hide or delete entries on the UC Davis Facebook page, if found in violation of UC Davis policies, or for any other reason at UC Davis’ sole discretion. UC Davis is not responsible for lost, damaged, delayed or misdirected prizes. UC Davis is not responsible for lost or misdirected sweepstakes entries. Prize(s) may not be redeemed for cash.
Through your participation in this sweepstakes you are providing your information to UC Davis and not to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. You acknowledge that this sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. By your participation in this sweepstakes, you agree to release UC Davis, Cal Aggie Alumni Association, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter from any liability related to the sweepstakes or your participation the sweepstakes.
Information provided will not be retained, sold, or used in any way other than specifically set for in these rules.
