Given the high demand, we will be accepting a limited number of walk-up registrations to this event. Parents and family members who would like to attend are still encouraged to come and participate.

The UC Davis Parents Program and the Aggie Parent & Family Association invite you to kick off Parent and Family Weekend in a festive spirit. Throughout the evening you’ll have the opportunity to mingle with other Aggie families while enjoying appetizers, beer, and wine (for those over 21).
Students are welcome to join but a ticket must also be purchased for them to attend. IDs will be checked at the door.
This is a ticketed event and tickets will be required for entry. Tickets are $25 for Aggie Parent and Family Association (APFA) members, $35 for non-members, and $15 for students and designated drivers.
Location: Coffee Center
- The UC Davis Coffee Center is located in the UC Davis Arboretum, within walking distance of the Robert Mondavi Institute of Wine and Food Science. This 6,000-square-foot building was renovated and reopened in 2024. It is home to the world’s first academic research and teaching facility entirely dedicated to the study of coffee. This facility brings together visitors, students and researchers from across the university and around the world in a dynamic environment where cutting-edge coffee science is explored and translated into practice.
Time: 5pm-7pm
The UC Davis Bookstore will also be hosting a pop-up at the kickoff reception.
