The DC Alumni Network invites you for an evening of good wine and great conversation. Alumni Award Winner, Mari Pangestu Ph.D. ’86, will share what led to her receiving the Emil M. Mrak International Award, her plans for the future, and why she supports the Cal Aggie Alumni Association.
While Mari speaks, you'll get to sample wines from Blenheim Vineyards, a member of our Aggies Uncorked Wine Club. For over ten years, Blenheim Vineyards has been crafting quality and sustainable 100% Virginia grown wines and managing 32 acres of estate vineyards.

More About Mari
Mari Pangestu has made tremendous global impact over a 30-year career in academia, government and international organizations. She is a professor of international economics at the University of Indonesia and has recently retired from the World Bank, where she oversaw development policy and partnerships. She has also served as the Minister of Trade and Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy in Indonesia.
Her passion and commitment to advancing global education and solving learning and health challenges have been invaluable in strengthening the connection between Indonesia and UC Davis.
