Network Leader FAQ
- What is a Network Leader?
- Network leaders are a group of people who serve as ambassadors to keep other alumni connected to UC Davis and plan consistent events throughout the year for UC Davis Alumni in their regional or affinity “Network.” These events focus on Aggie pride, education, career development and networking, and community service.
- How does someone become a Network Leader?
- Interested Alumni can fill out the Volunteer Interest Form to select their interested networks and begin working with a CAAA Staff Liaison. Each alumni leader must have a current annual or lifetime membership. Members information can be found on the One Alumni Network page. Each leader is required to read and sign the Terms and Conditions Form as a part of leader and network registration. If you have any questions, please contact us at alumni@ucdavis.edu.
- How do I start a new Alumni Network?
- You must speak with a Staff Liaison before completing registration. Complete and submit the CAAA Annual Network Registration form. The CAAA Annual Network Registration form is open from February 1 until April 30th each year. All networks are required to submit the registration each year. For help filling out the registration form, use the Network Registration Instruction Worksheet to guide you through all the components of the network registration.
- Who pays for events?
- If you are a registered CAAA member you are allotted a budget each fiscal year. Your CAAA staff liaison will work with you to determine costs for events and manage your overall budget. Events can be paid for via your yearly operating budget or via a fee-driven event registration managed by your CAAA liaison.
