Calling all UC Davis Global Aggies! Whether you are in California or elsewhere around the world this UC Davis Picnic Day, the Cal Aggie Alumni Association and Global Affairs invite you to join UC Davis Picnic Day Around the World 2021. Hear from Global Affairs Vice Provost and Dean Joanna Regulska, learn about the most recent campus developments, enjoy Q&A sessions with students and alumni, and more at the interactive online event on April 16, 2021 6- 7:15 p.m. PDT (April 17, 1- 2:15 a.m. UTC).
Breakout room discussions, led by students, faculty, staff, and partners, will include Ask a Student Anything, featuring UC Davis Global Ambassador Mentorship Program Co-Coordinators Ritz Tolentino (food science major) and Phoebe Wang (biochemistry and molecular biology major); Campus Sustainability, featuring UC Davis Director of Sustainability and Campus Sustainability Planner Camille Kirk; Food Literacy and Nutrition, featuring Assistant Professor of Teaching Nutrition Debbie Fetter; Healthy Davis Together, featuring Yolo Food Bank Impact and Innovation Officer Robb Davis; Student Farming Around the World, featuring UC Davis Global Education for All Fellows Nadia Moukanni (soils and biogeochemistry Ph.D. student) and Esra Hawsawi (materials science and engineering major).
