Make the Holidays Happier Across Campus

As part of the Aggie family, you have an opportunity during the holidays to provide help to students and others across campus (including our furry friends!). We are pleased to present some programs here that would benefit greatly from your support at this time.

Delight a child by participating in the online UC Davis Children’s Hospital Toy Drive, which opens Nov. 21. Rest assured you will provide some joy to a tiny patient during a very difficult time!

Help our students who struggle with food insecurity by donating to the ASUCD Pantry. The Pantry works with Yolo Food Bank and other organizations to purchase food at cut-rate prices, meaning even small donations go a long way in feeding students.

Other crucial services for students include the Aggie Compass Basic Needs Center, which connects students with housing, financial assistance, mental health services and more, and Student Emergency Relief Aid (SERA), which offers students quick cash awards for urgent needs not covered by other assistance.

As for our companion animals, the School of Veterinary Medicine Compassionate Care Fund helps defray costs for families to treat their sick or injured pets. And a program called Access to Care offers veterinary care to rural clinics, animals injured in wildfires, orphaned kittens and more.

Your gift of any size will have an enormous impact on our students, our patients, and the animals we love.

Thank you for your support. I wish you and your loved ones very happy holidays this year!
